Question: Why am I not getting any data?
Answer: There are a few reasons why this may happen.
- Your tracking code is not installed correctly.
Make sure your site in your dashboard is showing the Active Status. This means the code has been installed correctly, and we've received a signal from your site. - Your tracking code was just installed and needs time to map the data on your website.
Newly registered and installed sites need a little time to process the new data. RAEK automates the painful process of taking your site's raw data and turning it into a usable format. Since each site is built differently, it takes it a little while to map out the formats. - Your website receive little to no traffic with data to process.
Having enough traffic to analyze is an important part of using RAEK. It is meant to be a complimentary tool, and is only effective if there is enough data to work with.
RAEK also needs real data to work with. Knowing there are Google Bots and other Search Engines crawling your site, and even less legitimate bots cruising around the web, we filter out information on traffic from automated sources.
Typically, we notice sites with less than fifteen sessions per hour, usually do not see much data being processed. This is normally because of the fifteen sessions you just received, ten of them we're crawlers scanning your site, leaving us with five sessions to evaluate. You may still receive data, however it will take longer to collect data at this rate. If your site's traffic falls around this range, we suggest using the Free Plan to collect all the data you can from the traffic that is coming to your website, and work on traditional methods and strategies to increase your total web traffic.
