Depending on the complexity of your website and GTM setup, most installations can be completed in a few easy steps.
Prerequisites
For the purpose of these instructions, we will assume you've already created a GTM account and have installed GTM on your site. For directions on how to install GTM, please refer to Google's Documentation.
Create RAEK Tag in GTM
#1 - When looking at the GTM Dashboard or the Tag page, click on "Add a new tag"
#2 - In the New Tag Setup page, click on Tag Configuration
#3 - Select the Custom HTML option
#4 - On the top left-hand side of the window, you will see the default name for this new tag. Rename it to something you will remember, such as "RAEK Tag"
#5 - In the HTML field, paste in your RAEK Tag from your account
#6 - Under the Advanced Settings, then under Tag firing options, selection the option for Once Per Page
#7 - In the Triggering Section, choose the trigger "Initialization - All Pages"
#8 - Lastly, click the save button on the top right, confirm your tag's name, and then submit the changes. Be sure to both save your tag changes and submit them in order for the tag to fire on your site.
